Mission
To support, facilitate and strengthen the City of Glenn Heights governmental process by:
- Safeguarding and enriching the municipal election and records management processes
- Assisting the City Council in fulfilling its duties and responsibilities
- Improving public access to municipal records and other information
- Enhancing public participation in municipal government processes
- Providing continuity for Glenn Heights city government by recording its legislative actions, both contemporary and archival
Responsibilities
- Board and Commission appointments
- Certifying all legal documents
- Coordinates City Board and Commission appointments
- Coordinating Municipal Elections
- Giving notice of City Council meetings and keeping the minutes, City Ordinances and Resolutions
- Giving notice of Planning and Zoning Commission meetings and keeping the minutes
- Giving notice of Zoning Board of Adjustments meetings and keeping the minutes
- Municipal Elections
- Public Information Officer
- Records Management Officer
