Chief Eddie Burns would like to invite the Glenn Heights community to the quarterly Chat with the Chiefs event. Chat with the Chiefs is a program that provides an opportunity for citizens to talk with the city’s police and fire chiefs to discuss neighborhood issues, community relations, current staffing, neighborhood crime trends, and emergency services and fire safety related issues.
Our Chiefs believe that open dialogue with members of our community will lead to improved service levels for our citizens and provide a framework for continued conversations in the future.
Community policing is a philosophy that promotes organizational strategies that support the systematic use of partnerships and problem-solving techniques to proactively address the immediate conditions that give rise to public safety issues such as crime, social disorder, and fear of crime.
Next Meeting
Chat with the Chiefs is held on a quarterly basis at 6:30 p.m.
