2. Glenn Heights Fire Department - Community CPR & Stop the Bleed Class

   The Glenn Heights Fire Department is offering free CPR  and Stop the Bleed training courses, open to all. However, priority will be given to residents on a first-come, first-served basis, with non-residents selected after. This hands-on program will equip participants with essential lifesaving skills and the techniques needed to effectively respond in emergency situations.

   Topics covered will include:

   • Understanding Cardiac Arrest and Heart Attacks
   • The Importance of Early CPR
   • Emergency Situations Response
   • Adult, Child, and Infant CPR Techniques
   • Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
   • Choking Relief
   • Hands-On Practice with CPR Manikins
   • Recognizing life‑threatening bleeding
   • Applying direct pressure

   • Using wound‑packing or tourniquets to stop hemorrhage

   Join us for this opportunity to learn lifesaving skills and strengthen our community’s ability to respond to emergencies!
