Resets
No resets are given the day of court. Exceptions may be granted in cases of medical or emergency situations and on a case by case basis. All requests must be in writing, signed, dated, and give the reason for the reset request.
Dress Code
All persons including attorneys, children and accompanying guests shall be dressed in appropriate attire that shows dignity and respect for court proceedings. There are no exceptions. The following rules apply:
- No animals except service animals
- No chewing gum, tobacco, food or drink
- No gym/work out/athletic attire
- No halter tops, tube tops, midriffs, or cut off shirts
- No hats, hair curlers or rollers, sleeping caps
- No inappropriate pictures, offensive, vulgar, or obscene
- No leggings
- No miniskirts
- No sagging pants or display of undergarments
- No shorts
- No tank tops or spaghetti strap shirts
Cellphones & Inspections
Cell phones must be off or on vibrate. Phones that disturb court proceedings will be placed in cell phone jail and will be returned at the conclusion of all court business for the day.
All purses, backs, carry cases, electronic devices, etc. are subject to inspection. All persons entering courtroom are subject to inspection.
Limited Seating
Seating in the courtroom is limited, and therefore, we request that you try to make arrangements for small children and other family members. Persons who do not have cases may be asked to wait outside the courtroom if there is not enough seating available. Persons entering court must be dressed appropriately and conduct themselves in a respectful manner, anyone in violation will be ordered to leave.
Paying Fines, Fees, & Costs
Please be advised that all fines, fees, and costs must be paid at the time of court. This includes defensive driving, deferred disposition, and dismissal fees.
Required Contact Information
The Court requires current contact information on everyone requesting a court date. If you do not have all of this information, please be prepared to pay in full. There can be no pay plan agreements unless all of this information is provided on the financial affidavit, request, or any other agreement made.
