Utility Billing

Mission

The Utility Billing Department aims to provide professional and responsive service to the citizens of Glenn Heights. This service-oriented department is responsible for:

  • Billing and payment collections for water, sewer, and solid waste services
  •  Customer service issue resolutions
  •  Monthly meter readings
  • New account set up for water services

Water Bill Payment Methods

The City accepts payments by cash, check, money order or credit card. Payments may be made by any one of the following ways:

  • Online
  • By Telephone by calling 972-223-1690, Option 3
  • Dropbox located on the South side of City Hall
  • In person at the Utility Billing Office located in City Hall
  • By Mail (mail to City Hall)
  • ACH Bank Draft

 Please note that payments sent by Mail must be received by Utility Billing before the due date to avoid late fees. Payments that are late due to postal issues are still subject to late fees. 

NSF Policy
Returned payments are subject to an NSF charge of $35 and payment by check will not be accepted until the full NSF balance is paid.

Get My Meter Information Portal/ Water Consumption Alerts

The City of Glenn Heights has implemented an automated meter reading system that provides customers with real time water consumption data and monitoring capabilities using Get My Meter Info.  Get My Meter Info is a free online service that provides tools to understand and manage water consumption and detect potential leaks.   Customers can view consumption on an hourly, daily, or monthly basis. If you have already created a Get My Meter Info Account, you may sign in directly here . The portal may be accessed on a mobile device or an internet browser.
