Welcome from the Fire Chief
Dear Residents and Visitors of Glenn Heights,
On behalf of the dedicated men and women of the Glenn Heights Fire Department, I extend a warm welcome to our official website. As your Fire Chief, it is my honor to lead a team committed to serving our community with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
The Glenn Heights Fire Department is more than just an emergency service provider; we are a vital part of our vibrant community of approximately 20,500 residents spanning 7.2 square miles. Our mission is to protect lives, property, and the environment through fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue operations, and community education.
Our highly trained firefighters and paramedics are prepared to respond 24/7, equipped to handle a wide range of emergencies, including medical calls, hazardous materials incidents, and rescue operations. Beyond emergency response, we prioritize proactive measures such as fire safety education, community outreach programs, and safety inspections to foster a culture of preparedness and resilience throughout Glenn Heights.
At the core of our efforts are our guiding values—integrity, respect, safety, compassion, teamwork, and trust—which shape every interaction with the community and one another. We are committed to continuous improvement, adapting to the ever-changing needs of our city, and upholding the rich traditions of the fire service.
This website is a resource to keep you informed about our services, initiatives, and safety tips. We invite you to explore the information available and connect with us through our site or the city’s social media accounts to stay updated on events and programs designed to enhance public safety.
